2011 National Conference on Volunteering and Service

The 2011 National Conference on Volunteering and Service (NCVS), which took place in New Orleans, June 6 – 8, brought together more than 4,600 “champions of service”, who were inspired by the stories of super-empowered citizens – those who speak for our sector to the world and those who quietly create change in their own communities.

Through the conference, volunteers and service leaders across the country and world had the opportunity to learn, connect and be inspired through a range of plenary sessions, workshops, special events, service projects and more.
