Robert Goodwin and Thomas Kinkade Appear on "The Larry King Show"
WASHINGTON, DC (June 26, 2006)-Robert Goodwin, president and CEO of the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network, and Thomas Kinkade, the most-collected artist in America, appeared on "The Larry King Show" on July 1 to discuss their recently-published book, Points of Light: A Celebration of the American Spirit of Giving.
The interview launched a series of media appearances that resulted in more than 30 radio and television interviews reaching an estimated audience of more than six million people.
In the book Goodwin and Kinkade tell the inspiring stories of ordinary volunteers who do extraordinary works. With a foreword by former President George H.W. Bush and illustrations by Kinkade, this book will inspire those who have experienced the abundant rewards of giving and motivate those who will want to after reading it.
