Scott Vancuzer is an outstanding friend, father and humantarian. None of these titles complare to the selfless commitment to the communmity Scott shares everyday. he is a great part of the Fort Pierce community in many ways. Scott is a leade with a huge heart. Just in the past year, he has set up a scholarship fund for local youth involved in community service. he has also helped to raise money for two families in the past four months. One of the family members had been diagnozed with cancer and lost his leg. The mom then had financial hardships and Scott went to work! The other family was having a hard time coping with the tragic and sudden death of their 17 year old son. They nneeded assistance with medical and funeral expenses as well as dealing with their grieving process. Once again, Scott stepped in the assist them with their needs. Scott opened his restaurant and donated 100 percent of the proceeds to both of the families in need. When the Boy Scouts had their annual food drive, Scott assisted also.  He spearheaded and single handedly coordinated efforts to bring in more than 37,000 pounds of food. Scott then continued to help by ensuring the donated food went to the local distribution centers who were in tremendous need during that time. Scott's impact and hand prints are all over the community! His actions speak much louder than anyone's words could justify. He is a selfless individual with a genuinely caring heart who maked everyone he meets want to be a better person by giving to help someone else.
