Yesterday was another day allotted to call your Representatives in Congress to Save Service in America.  We thank all of you who took the time out to make a phone call- everyone of you has made a difference!

"If we get 20 calls in the office, we take notice. Overwhelm us with phone calls. Let your voices be heard!" - Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro.

As we move forward from the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance let us continue the call to action to use service as a solution to our 21st century issues.  As we have seen time and time again in tragedy and disaster, people act upon their first instincts to serve and help others.

Now is not the time to cut these cost-effective initiatives like the Corporation for National and Community Service that provide opportunities for people to serve and provide solutions to challenges facing communities across the country.
