Happy October! This month is filled with falling leaves, costumes, candy, pumpkins and most importantly a chance to make a difference.  No matter what your age you can partake in civic activities as well as all the other fun fall October activities.

October 16-22^nd is a week for youth to Make their Mark on the world with generationOn’s Make Your Mark Week.  The purpose of this week is to showcase the passion of young people.  Youth are encouraged to pursue initiatives for the greater good of all. Now is a great time for youth to turn creative thoughts into actions.

“Nothing inspires me more than knowing that young people all across the country are already making their marks” –President Obama said in his Back-To-School address.
