Starbucks 2011 Shared Planet Youth Action Grants
Starbucks Shared Planet is the company commitment to do good to each other and the planet; from buying/selling sustainable coffee to minimizing environmental footprints and being involved in local communities.
With the support of Shared Planet Youth Action Grants, Starbucks strives to help young people realize their natural potential to reinvent the world.

This organization is led by students with the support of adults who created a Dream House in order to decrease youth violence in Baltimore, MD. The Dream House provides leadership jobs and opportunities for young people to mentor and engage younger students in homework, health and community service activities.
These Starbucks Youth Action Grants can benefit many other organizations and be the next step to make it possible for creative youth ideas to make real change in local communities and inspire additional individuals to take part in community service. Starbucks shares the spirit of innovation to inspire young people to take action to create positive solutions to real local needs they see in their neighborhoods.
Through these youth action grants Starbucks strives to engage 50,000 young people to take action in their local communities to contribute 1 million hours of community service per year by 2015.
The Starbucks Foundation reviews Letters of Inquiry on an annual basis and are currently accepting Letters of Inquiry for the spring 2012 grant cycle.
Complete the online Letter of Inquiry form here. The online form will close on December 1, 2011. will be if your organization has been selected to complete a full grant application they will be contacted by February 2012.
