Points of Light News FlashIn 2006, L'Oréal Paris, in partnership with Points of Light, launched the Women of Worth Women Of Worth Nomineesprogram to celebrate, recognize and honor women who are making an exceptional difference in their communities. Every year, we select 10 women who are actively serving their communities through volunteering and exemplify a strong dedication to a cause close to their hearts.

Now in its sixth year of our partnership, we are excited to announce the 2011 L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth honorees. Each of these women truly represents the dedication, determination and drive necessary to make change in their local communities. Their service efforts range from helping to mentor and foster underserved youth, find groundbreaking cures for pediatric cancer, as well as helping women veterans readjust to life at home. Each honoree will receive a $10,000 grant to further support their efforts.

You can help choose this year's national honoree by voting now through Nov. 23. The national honoree will receive an additional $25,000 grant for her efforts.
