Today is International Volunteer Day!

International Volunteer Day offers an opportunity for volunteer organizations and individual volunteers at local, national and international levels to highlight work towards the achievement of the UN Millennium Development Goals like hunger, education, health.   Every day thousands of people are volunteering, contributing to peace and development and social causes that effect the world- everyone deserves recognition for the positive change they are creating.
