Ruach Tova, a global affiliate of Points of Light, founded Good Deeds Day on the basic premise that “every person can do a good deed and create positive impact.” In 2016, more than 1.5 million volunteers completed 14,000 projects in over 75 countries. Now in its 11th year, the day is an engaging way for individuals to create change in their community by addressing local needs, educating young people and distributing health resources.
