All arms of Points of Light Institute - HandsOn Network Action Centers, AmeriCorps Alums, community partners and more - are calling people to Get HandsOn! and make MLK Day 2010 "A Day On, Not A Day Off."

This MLK Day, Points of Light Institute and HandsOn Network will lead and engage the nation in a national dialogue and service events that bridge social, economic and cultural differences and illuminate the actions that people can take to bring us closer to creating Dr. King's beloved community. Volunteers, families, corporations, neighborhoods and individuals can find a service project happening near them or use our toolkits and planning guides to create their own volunteer activities for MLK Day of Service.

Finally, we will connect you to phenomenal service projects and deliberate dialogues happening across the county live on January 18!
