May is Mental Health Month, aimed at raising awareness of mental health and helping to fight stigmas – and providing support for the millions of Americans living with mental health conditions. Volunteers play an important role in supporting those who live with mental health conditions, and continuing to fight the stigmas associated with them.

The Points of Light Monument is a one-mile walkway in Washington, D.C., that honors the actions and service of famous Americans who have transformed our nation and the world. During Women’s History Month, we recognize and celebrate the significant contributions that the women featured on the monument have made throughout U.S. history, honoring their achievements and the great economic, social and political causes that these points of light dedicated their lives to.
