Customized Program Development Trainings

Southwest Gas Logo

Points of Light’s Corporate Institute designed and delivered a customized in person two-day workshop for 25 Southwest Gas associates from across the country.  The workshop training was designed to support the development of Southwest Gas’ formalized Employee Volunteer Program (EVP).

Points of Light worked closely with Southwest Gas on a number of consulting items to inform the training including deployment and analysis of an all employee survey, steering committee support, assessment of current employee volunteer practices and general advice and recommendations.

The workshop training provided attendees with our professional assessment and counsel, EVP practices, recommendations and teachings.  As a result of the workshop, Southwest Gas launched a steering committee to guide the development and deployment of their EVP program; outlined their EVP goals and impact areas; defined potential policies to support the EVP; and identified challenges, road blocks and opportunities.
