Patrice Keegan

Boston Cares

Patrice Keegan has been Executive Director of Boston Cares since 2002; during her tenure, the organization has evolved into New England's largest volunteer action center.

Prior to taking the helm of Boston Cares, Patrice held roles as the founding Director of the CivicHealth Institute at Codman Square Health Center, and as Codman's Administration & Finance Director. She was also the Project Administrator at Cambridge Hospital, which focused on neighborhood health.

In addition to her participation in local politics, Patrice serves on the Advisory Board of the Simmons College Institute for Leadership & Change.

Patrice holds an M.A. in Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and a B.A. cum laude from Harvard University. She also completed a Fellowship in Occupational Health at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

Patrice is a graduate of Lead Boston, and twice led the United States delegation to the Women Waging Peace colloquium at Harvard University.
