Rose McManus Coleman
Rose McManus Coleman joined Points of Light in November 2017, bringing more than 20 years of experience in managing cross-functional and collaborative teams to achieve and exceed organizational objectives. As chief development officer, she oversees the creation and execution of all development strategy, including annual giving, major gifts, sponsorships, government, corporate, foundation and special campaigns.
Previously, Rose served as the senior vice president of resource development at NeighborWorks America, a congressionally chartered nonprofit focused on strengthening communities, and often a Points of Light collaborator. In her role, Rose raised funds to build resilient communities through NeighborWorks America and its network of more than 240 organizations across the country. At the Virtua Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Virtua Health, Rose previously served as senior vice president, securing funds from individuals, corporations and foundations that increased access to healthcare for all members of the community. Her career, across both corporate and nonprofit organizations, has been guided by the opportunity to engage individuals and organizations in contributing to the sustainability of their communities.
Rose earned an MBA from George Washington University, and a bachelor’s degree in government and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
