Eve Glenn was first drawn to give back as a constructive way to spend her time during her father’s deployments. The Tampa, Florida, teen is a volunteer STEM tutor who spearheaded a tutoring program to benefit students with an academic need in her community. She has also led two STEM-related service projects to benefit local schools, and served as a volunteer for the USO, as well as other school and military affiliated organizations.

“Volunteering gives me an instant purpose […], and long-term friendships in each new location our family is stationed,” Eve said.
