In this seminar, both business and nonprofit partners work together to develop strategies for creating successful partnerships. Gain practical information that can be immediately applied to your company's employee volunteer program or your organization's management strategies. Learn to develop partnerships from your organization's strengths, build on the four steps of success for community partnerships, and use the Standards of Partnership Excellence to build your partnership agreement.

This seminar is intended for business and government employee volunteer program managers, and nonprofit and school volunteer program managers. Participants should have responsibility for external relations with other organizations. Pre-requisites: none.

About the Trainer
Carole Smith, has over 15 years of experience in community relations and philanthropy. She works with corporations to develop programs that are tailored to meet their specific needs and reflect their culture. While at Fannie Mae, she created the Walk for the Homeless and designed a corporate volunteer program that earned the Points of Light Foundation's Award for Excellence in Corporate Community Service. Carole also served as Vice Chairperson of the National Council on Workplace Volunteerism.
