AJ Johnson

AJ Johnson most recently served as the President and owner of Eagle Group International, a provider of logistics and health care support services to complex organizations such as the Department of Defense, and the Department of Labor. In May of 2008, he sold his company to Lockheed Martin. Eagle Group was the eighth largest minority owned business in Georgia and the 29th largest African American owned business in the United States.

Among numerous honors, Eagle Group was a finalist in the 2007 Georgia Family Business of the Year Awards, presented by the Coles College of Business' Cox Family Business Enterprise Center at Kennesaw State University.

AJ is currently the Managing and Founding Partner of Georgetown Capital, a private equity firm focused on middle market investments in government service providers.

AJ holds a B.A. from Texas Tech University, and a JD and MBA from The George Washington University. He is an active community and civic leader, currently serving as a trustee for the Texas Tech University Foundation, and as a member of the advisory board of the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He also chairs the board of directors of Accion International, and is an alumnus of Leadership Atlanta. He is also a "Big" in the Big Brother Big Sisters program.

AJ is married to his high school sweetheart, Judy Garcia Johnson, and they have two beautiful daughters, Alex, 12 and Devan, 8.
