The Corporate Service Council is an annual membership that empowers and equips CSR and corporate citizenship leaders with actionable resources, benchmarking data, in-person and online learning opportunities, and access to a network of industry experts to spark innovation and achieve business and social outcomes.

Points of Light’s Corporate Service Council believes companies, their employees, partners, vendors and customers can be drivers of transformative social change in communities around the world. This potential is realized when employees are inspired and engaged as essential drivers of their company’s social action. The CSC empowers and equips leaders to help their employees to drive community impact by connecting them to a network of social impact peers, experts, academics and nonprofits. Points of Light supports its council members with sector insights and benchmarking resources, in-person and online trainings and issue webinars, consulting time, and peer-led learning to spark innovation to achieve business and social outcomes.
Monthly Convenings & Peer Discussions: Open to members and their teams, Points of Light hosts monthly meetings with industry experts as well as peer discussions to share best practices on pressing issues impacting their work.
Thought Leadership & Recognition: Points of Light spotlights its members and their work through opportunities with thought leadership editorials and speaking opportunities, as well as its corporate newsletter and social media channels.
In-Person Events & Gatherings: Members have access to two in-person events: a special half-day Council meeting and reception that kicks off Points of Light’s Conference and our annual 1-2 day Council Summit.
Networking & Peer & Partner Connections: Through monthly convenings, in-person events, a private LinkedIn group and facilitated introductions to peers and partners, members can make connections to take their impact and career to the next level.

Anita serves as the President and Chair of the KPMG US Foundation, where she is responsible for the strategy of our firm’s philanthropic efforts. She also serves as the lead for our Social Impact practice, where she supports both our non-profit and corporate clients on their philanthropic strategies. Her professional career has been shaped by a culture of service. First working in healthcare at Indiana University Medical Center and George Washington University Medical Center, then joining KPMG 22 years ago, helping organizations move forward on their philanthropic journeys.
