Mrs. Meadors has volunteered her time and special talents to the residents of the Life Care Center for the past eight years.
Mrs. Meadors reads to and walks with the residents, writes letters, leads outings, provides transportation to medical appointments, and conducts a weekly sing-along, thereby offering them a renewed sense of self-esteem and satisfaction. Mrs. Meadors remembers each senior citizen's birthday with a card and cake. She provides them with companionship on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays. In addition, she engages each resident in Success Therapy, which allows for a rewarding personal experience each day.
