Good & Ready Campaign

Good & Ready is an emergency preparedness campaign run by Points of Light that highlights many of our engine capabilities: “dares” people to engage in service projects and pledges, provides incentives and recognition to participants, utilizes social media tools, communicates stories of success. Launched as part of the Get HandsOn Campaign, Good & Ready focuses on emergency preparedness efforts and encourages Americans to create family emergency plans, build emergency preparedness kits and get trained with an emergency response organization. By making a pledge to get good and ready people were entered in weekly sweepstakes to win a $250 Lowe’s gift card. Participants were also entered for the chance to win a $1,000 American Express gift card in the grand prize drawing.
