Points of Light is looking for a strategic and innovative Vice President of Foundation Partnerships and Major Gifts to secure grants from both private foundations and major donors. The Vice President of Foundation Partnerships and Major Gifts will provide strategic leadership, organize and deploy Points of Light’s resources to broaden and deepen support from national and community foundations, and pursue substantial annual and capacity-building revenue goals through partnerships, sponsorships, grants and other engagement opportunities. The Vice President will develop the department plan and work collaboratively with other development staff members and across departments in executing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities. This will be a senior leadership position based in Atlanta and fuel the organization’s capacity to ignite a new spirit of service and civic engagement across the world.

The fall Days of Service Intern will assist in planning for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Dr. Martin Luther King will be honored on Monday, January 16, 2017. This national holiday continues to provide an opportunity to celebrate the legacy of a civil rights leader using citizen service as a tribute to his life of selfless action. The Days of Service Intern will be responsible for sub-granting, civic engagement programming, and other programmatic activities.

The Financial Opportunity Corps Fellowship provides valuable professional development for individuals who want to expand their experience in program development, capacity-building, and problem solving—skills that Fellows will take with them in future leadership positions. Points of Light, Financial Opportunity Corps (FOC) Fellows will have an opportunity to advance their abilities and knowledge in the area of financial coaching as well as collaborate and build relationships with key community stakeholders, and network with nonprofit leadership. The FOC Fellow will be a part of the FOC team at their host site which will include an AmeriCorps VISTA member and the host site supervisor.
Pipeline Development Associate

We are seeking a team of part-time “Pipeline Development Associates” to aid in the recruitment and selection process for our next program which will launch in Spring 2016. The Associate will work independently and collaboratively with the Civic Accelerator team to develop a pipeline of qualified entrepreneur applicants and local partners, encourage strong applicants to apply, and assist in the cohort selection process. A successful Associate will become the “Civic Accelerator go-to person” for their specific region, as well as the “eyes and ears” on the ground for the Civic Accelerator Leadership Team.

Points of Light is seeking VISTAs, who will be responsible to develop and maintain a local Financial Coaching Program that will provide long-term and systemic financial coaching to under resourced communities. Financial Opportunity Corps (FOC) will work within low income communities to form better money habits, ultimately increasing financial knowledge, confidence and sustainability. VISTAs will engage volunteers to support coaching delivery and long-term program sustainability. VISTAs will also recruit and engage members of the community as client beneficiaries of the financial coaching program.

The Instructional Design Volunteer will work to update an existing series of 6 Volunteer Management Training eCourses. The Volunteer Management Training Series equips individuals to manage high-impact volunteer programs. This volunteer will be responsible for creating new and modifying existing Articulate Storyline eCourses. The courses should be engaging and interactive, including the syncing of voice over.
Skills-Based Volunteer - Knowledge Center Administrative Volunteer

The Knowledge Center Administrative Volunteer will assist the Knowledge Center team with data entry and SalesForce document uploading, as well as organizing files in Google Drive. This volunteer will be responsible for helping the Knowledge Center organize its digital files including: • Uploading existing contracts into SalesForce – creating new files as needed • Organizing files within the Service Enterprise Google Drive folder • Potentially some basic data entry in SalesForce

The SBV Finance Administrative Manager will support the office of the CFAO and operations by planning, organizing, and implementing administrative systems, as well as assisting with monitoring budgetary and financial reports, tracking project milestones and deliverables, and performing other specific project based tasks.
