Points of Light is the national home and administrator for the Community Blueprint Network, an initiative conceived by more than 50 military service nonprofits and government agencies that has identified volunteer led solutions to critical needs encountered by veterans, returning service men and women and their families. Marketing/Communications Intern

Do you know how to make a 300-word blog post sing? A Facebook post? A tweet? Points of Light is looking for an energetic person – part storyteller, part social media whiz – to fill an internship position in our Washington, D.C., office. This is a rich, hands-on experience that will give the selected candidate a deeper understanding of communications strategy and messaging. The intern will assist our Marketing/Communications team in various ways, including: writing blog posts and press releases; contributing to our social media pages; proofreading; assisting members of the media; and developing resources for internal and external communications.
Civic Accelerator Pipeline Development Associate

An additional 80,000 AmeriCorps members serve each year, which means our alumni community is nearly 1 million strong. Though we are a vibrant and growing alumni community, we have never launched a systemic individual giving campaign. This year, the 20th anniversary of AmeriCorps, is a pivotal moment to engage our alumni community in opportunities to give.
