The Vice President, Development provides strategic leadership in fundraising, with particular emphasis on major donor partnerships, creating and developing new revenue streams, and enterprise integration that results in effective signature program packaging. The Vice President ensures that assets and relationships developed for gifts are fully and creatively maximized to build lasting relationships and strengthen Points of Light. This includes managing the Points of Light Advisory Board, growing Points of Light’s individual giving program, and leading an annual fundraising Tribute event. The Vice President is responsible for annual fund-raising goals associated with these activities as assigned by the Chief Development Officer.

The generationOn Clubs program engages groups of kids and teens in hands-on service during out-of-school time, through a national network and online resources, and is a critical and highly visible component of generationOn. Communicating with the caring adults who facilitate Clubs and the kids and teens who participate in them is an important way to mobilize more youth in service, as is the provision of grants. The Youth Engagement and Clubs Program Associate will develop and execute programming, resources, communications and technical support for youth and generationOn Clubs, and will play a key role in the administration of grants given to generationOn members.

Corporate Institute Events Intern, Points of Light – Corporate Institute

The events intern at Points of Light Corporate Institute (DC Office) will be working directly with the Manager, Corporate Services within the Corporate Institute. The events intern will gain valuable experience in all aspects of event planning, including: speaker registration, collateral and signage creation, speaker invitations, onsite schedules, briefing binders, and marketing materials. This person will be responsible for aiding the Manager, Corporate Services in planning and executing special events for our Billion + Change initiative, the Corporate Service Council and our Conference on Volunteering and Service. This person will be responsible for assisting with researching, developing and producing the Corporate Institute's suite of resources for employee volunteerism. AmeriCorps Alums is seeking highly qualified and committed individual to design key systems to support the organization’s growth. Nearly 820,000 Americans have served as AmeriCorps members. An additional 80,000 AmeriCorps members serve each year, which means our alumni community is nearly 1 million strong. Though we are a vibrant and growing alumni community, we have never launched a systemic individual giving campaign. This year, the 20th anniversary of AmeriCorps, is a pivotal moment to engage our alumni community in opportunities to give. We are seeking a skills-based volunteer (ideally with fundraising experience) to help us launch the anniversary giving campaign.
