The 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance was created to establish this day as a permanent and positive legacy, rekindling the spirit of unity that existed immediately after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks and honoring the 9/11 victims, heroes and all those who rose in service in response to the terrorist attacks that changed our nation. It brings together cultures, bridges differences and unites citizens of goodwill around the world in a spirt of unity and commitment.
In support of the 10-year anniversary of the attacks, MyGoodDeed and HandsOn Network led a coalition of national partners to engage more than one million Americans in acts of charitable service in their communities. Learn more about 9/11 Day below and begin making plans to commit your time, talent, voice and resources to create positive change during this year’s 9/11 activities.
For 2012 we will be mobilizing and equipping people all over the country to partake in service projects with our HandsOn Network affiliates. Look to our HandsOn Network event page for updates closer to the event date.
