Enroll in Citizen University
This is the moment for Americans across the political spectrum to reclaim responsibility for solving problems together, and Citizen University is the place to learn how to become a more powerful citizen.
Citizen University, a conference on the art of great citizenship, will take place in Seattle on March 23. Speakers include: Points of Light CEO Michelle Nunn; educator Howard Gardner; organizer Ai-jen Poo; California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom; journalist Jose Antonio Vargas; author Steven B. Johnson and many more.
Participants will learn from award-winning civic education programs, and participate in "deep-dive" discussions with fellow attendees. The day will end with The Citizen Salon, featuring Oscar-nominated "Lincoln" screenwriter Tony Kushner, professor Ahkil Reed Amar, author Karl Weber and more.
