A message from Disney and Points of Light:

Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented period. If your participating organization has unused Walt Disney World tickets expiring in 2020, your nonprofit or school should have received an email regarding Disney’s ticket extension policy.

We are happy to share that all unused charitable Walt Disney World tickets earned through the Disney Family Volunteering Reward Program with an original expiration date between March 12 through Dec. 31, 2020 will be extended through Sept. 26, 2021.

The change will appear on your My Disney Experience account in the next few days. This extension will happen automatically, and you will not need to receive new physical tickets in the mail. Simply use your original ticket to create a My Disney Experience account, book a Disney Park reservation, and enter the park. The expiration date will be updated automatically and reflected in your My Disney Experience account.

As you prepare to visit, please know that Disney’s gradual, phased approach to reopening considers the guidance of government and local health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in addition to the U.S. Travel Association and Disney’s team of health experts. In addition to enhanced cleaning measures and adjustments to promote physical distancing, face coverings (ages 2 and up), temperature screenings and park reservations will be required for all guests. Please note, this extension is ONLY for Walt Disney World ticket holders. Nonprofits and schools with Disneyland Resort tickets will receive more details in the coming weeks.

Where can I find the original expiration date of my ticket?
Tickets expire 2 years after the date of the letter that was originally affixed to the tickets. You may contact (407) 939-1289 if you no longer have this letter and need to confirm the expiration date of your tickets. Tickets with expiration dates from Mar. 12, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2020 will be automatically extended. The new expiration date will be Sept. 26, 2021. If you have linked these tickets to your My Disney Experience account, the updated validity dates will be reflected on your account soon. 

Will I receive a new ticket with the updated expiration date?
No, you will use the original ticket to create a My Disney Experience account, book a Disney Park Pass Reservation, and enter the park. The expiration date will be updated automatically and will be reflected in your My Disney Experience account.

I am unable to visit by Sept. 26, 2021. Can I apply the value of a wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date?
No — tickets earned through the Disney Family Volunteering Reward Program have no cash value. Complimentary tickets cannot be upgraded nor can they be applied towards a package to meet eligibility requirements.

My organization has also earned tickets for Disneyland Resort. Any updates?
