Kristen Kaplan leads Points of Light’s global corporate strategy, aligning purpose-driven business action with measurable community impact. A cross-sector social impact leader, she brings deep experience building high-performing teams and scaling innovative corporate responsibility programs that advance both business goals and societal outcomes. Before stepping into this role, Kristen served as Points of Light’s executive vice president of Global Corporate Programs, guiding strategy and execution across the organization’s corporate partnerships and offerings.

Kristen’s perspective has been shaped by leadership across the nonprofit, public and private sectors. She co-founded HandsOn Greater Richmond (a Points of Light Global Network affiliate) and has held roles with Conservation International, Connect Network and the Office of the Governor of Virginia, in addition to leading award-winning employee volunteerism and giving initiatives at a Fortune 200 company. Recognized among Style Weekly’s “Top 40 Under 40” and Leadership Metro Richmond’s Servant Leadership Award, she was also named a “Face of Service” by the Virginia Governor’s Office. Kristen has contributed to the Corporate Social Responsibility Board at The Conference Board and Good360’s Disaster Recovery Council, and she holds a Master of Public Administration with a graduate certificate in nonprofit management.
