Sunshine Club Volunteer Program

At Community Health of South Florida, Inc, (CHI), a private non-profit federally qualified health care organization providing affordable quality primary and behavioral health care services to the residents of South Florida; the Sunshine Club Volunteer Program was established to support the patients and staff of CHI for greater than 15 years. Over the previous two years, the program has grown to almost unimaginable heights as 114 volunteers providing over 14,727 hours of services.

The Sunshine Club Volunteer Program is hardwired into the culture and operation of CHI. Sunshine Club Volunteers support all aspects of health center activities including assisting with grant writing, engaging in wellness, exercise and nutritional program seniors, and preparing and distributing over 700 healthy meals to staff to support employee health and fitness.
