Points of Light and our Global Network mobilize disaster relief volunteers to aid in recovery efforts in areas affected by natural disasters or humanitarian crises.
Our Efforts
During times of uncertainty, one thing we can count on is the power of people to change the world. We are a community of millions of points of light joined together by a shared belief that we can make a positive difference.
Points of Light’s Global Network of affiliates, including many disaster relief nonprofits, are experts in innovative volunteer mobilization. With their wide array of expertise, we serve as connectors that enable them to leverage their experience to support their fellow affiliates in need.
Whether you’re part of a company or an organization, or simply an individual who wants to help, there are many ways to have an impact and support relief efforts in the aftermath of any natural disaster or humanitarian crisis.
Ukraine Crisis Response Fund
Your emergency gift to the Points of Light Ukraine Crisis Response Fund enables us to get needed funding directly to our Global Network affiliates that know best what the emergent needs are. These organizations are experts in their field and have a firm grasp on what must be done and how to do it. Your disaster donations not only support their important work but also stimulate their local economies through purchasing and hiring, which makes for a successful transition for displaced people and their host countries.
